As the devastation spreads of the news of Whitney Houston passing away last night the messages and respects flood Twitter and Facebook.
Another great and legendary artist lost at such a young age. Living a life in the public eye and especially within these past years Whitney has shown a struggle and battled to come back forth with her career, which only seems like last year she did her comeback tour.
Solange Knowles tweeted a really important and valid message that we should all listen to that we should not pay attention to the reasons how and why she passed but too what happiness she bought to our world.
Today I've been thinking of my favourite Whitney songs and feel we should celebrate the times she has bought memorabelia to our lives with her songs.
My favourite Whitney Houston song is proberly not your most stereotypical favourite amongst the playlist but it was always and has always been one of mine. I will never get bored of listening to her songs and she has been a favourite amongst all age groups and era's.
Published in yesterday's Metro newspaper I came across these Haute Couture creations from Dutch designer, Iris Van Herpen.
Killer heel indeed! Taking a bite of McQueens infamous sequinned stilletto skyscrapers (enjoy the pun) worn in Lady GaGa's Bad Romance video, embarking great resembelence.
Fashion label Twenty8Twelve has announced yesterday both Sienna Miller and sister Savannah Miller have stepped down from co-creative directors.
Twenty8Twelve was named after Sienna's birthday and has shown distinctive contemporary fashion for the past 6 years. Both sisters have chosen to leave to pursue further areas. The fashion label will still run under the guidance of the design team so fear not Twenty8Twelve will still continue. Nish Soneji is managing director of the label and has already spoke about areas of growth when the sisters leave including a better revamped online site and plans to showcase at the next London Fashion Week.
I'm sure we will be seeing more of Savannah Miller's design idea's as she boast's great experience and affluence previously working under Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson before the start of her duo with her sister.
Best of luck to the Miller's. I will be looking forward to seeing the new collections from Twenty8Twelve soon!!
