Olympic Torch Relay - Beddington
Yesterday was really exciting and a fortunate moment for me to live in and see the Olympic Torch run past my home. Such luck with the fluke heat wave we are finally having this 'Summer' and a great turnout of crowds waiting to watch the Torch run down Croydon Road.
Even the police were getting in the spirit and driving up and down on their bikes hi-fiving the crowd waiting to catch a glimpse.

Charity Shop Raid
Today I had another great weekend with my best friend raiding our local charity shop's. It's literally becoming a bit of an addiction and can see why people enjoy doing it so much. I usual try and visit my local ones in hope that I will find a vintage or unusual find but often come away empty handed of with just the odd item.
Today, however, has been my best yet trawling around four different areas and coming home with two cardigans and three shirts, all within driving distance of my home and even better is I didnt spend a penny over £20! bargain!
As mentioned in my previous post on Primark's new AW12 range, I have a fetish my Peter Pan collar's or shirt's in general so you can imagine my over exaggerated expense on buying three today.
I try to go open minded about what I'm hoping to buy, rather then with a particular imaginery item in my mind, which often leaves me with a dissappointing trip. I managed to do some persuasion with my friend buying a new shirt who was on the scout for some Levi jeans to turn into cut-offs but to her dismay didnt succeed.
My next visit will no doubt be in about 3 weeks time when hopefully the rails would have refreshed.

Nine West Loafer Love
If you havent yet, you MUST go browse the Kurt Geiger sale especially as now they are temporarily offering free UK delivery! And prices really have dropped, some over 50% off and saving yourself the £4.95 from free postage.
My purchase arrived today which I treated myself to from the Nine West range. My weakness is a flat day shoe, doesnt sound overly exciting but I will buy a pair, wear them senseless, then onto the next but my flat shoe collection seems to be unnervingly the same as the pair next to it.
Whether its a patent or not, you cant go wrong with a classic brogue or loafer shoe. Its the safest option for any day outfit and I like to take note from the Alexa Chung style who wears then naturally with skinny jeans and an oversized jumper or jacket.
The Nine West pair that I bought were at a bargain price of £19 dropped from £95. Couldnt really not buy them from such a price drop like that and still avaiable in my not so popular size 3.

Love** for Topshop
I recently had a wedding to attend and seeing as I dont go to these occasions often, when they do arise its always a struggle and stress-attack moment finding a dress suitable. Lucky for me the wedding was in the midst of the Derby Races and Ascot season so the shops were laden with Wedding-esque attire.
I usually hit online first to find something I like if the stores havent seem to grab my attention, mainly Marie claire or Look Magazine fashion pages are a good starting point and often gives you style bargains aswell. It was this where I came across the dress I saw, purchased and wore. Fuss free!

Mulberry AW12 Campaign
Mulberry has presented a monster theme campaign for their latest AW12 collection, shot by Tim Walker. Well I say 'monster' is used lightly more Where the Wild Things are huggable fairytale creatures. Opposing this seasons sheepskins and furrs will aid well with a Mulberry.

Lavish Alice
I came across today an independant fashion brand called Lavish Alice. Being a huntress for imaginery clothes I've styled in my mind and hope to find exactly what I've conjoured up on the high street, in my exact size and at my choice of price. Well Lavish Alice seems to have a handful close enough to my ideal shopping site where you can shop nice high street statement pieces at really good prices. Lavish Alice presents itself as a 'purse-friendly' site offering statement celebrity style ranges from clothing to accessories to shoes.
